Description of an event.

              My little niece birth

I’ve never imagined how was loving a little person that much. My little niece, Monserrat, was born in April 13^th, 2011 in San Antonio and since then I felt an incredible connection with her. At that moment, I didn’t know anything about babies and children. The only thing that I remembered was my childhood, but not that well.

The day she was born, everybody was extremely excited. My sister and my brother in law were totally on the edge, but happy at the same time, waiting for the prettier baby that I’ve ever seen. Finally, she came to the world around 7 PM and we could see her through the window.

When I first looked at her, I felt everything was going to change, but for good. She seemed so fragile that I was extremely afraid of holding her the first days. As time goes by, I got so used to seeing her that every time that I’m away from home I feel so alone without her.

All in all, that was definitely the best event ever, because it really gave sense to my life. Being a good aunt has been a great challenge for me and I hope been doing a good job.
